It was a wonderful last evening before the next "Corona closure". The food was (as always) delicious and the portions more than adequate. Service was very attentive, friendly and fast. Great atmosphere - very relaxed and rather familiar. Exactly our taste. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here. We'll be back and hope that you can open again soon! Just got the 'to go' food recommended a few months ago. The most delicious food I know in the region and very generous portions at absolutely fair prices. No matter what you order, everything is super good. I can only recommend a visit here and am happy to support the restaurant in these difficult times

Delicious and very generous meals at reasonable prices. We took over a little bit and had to pack a lot because we had ordered too much. There is a large selection of beers on the menu and the ambience is great (fairly newly renovated, country house style). In the end we would have to wait a long time until we could pay the bill, but otherwise everything was great!

Unfortunately this time we didn't feel so comfortable during our stay! The service was absolutely unfriendly, regardless of whether an order was made, a change was asked, something was asked ... to us, she almost looked snotty. I also found it a shame that there was no flexibility. When asked whether it might be possible to eat melted onions instead of fried onions ..... there was only a snotty "we only have that". What additional work would a cook have if he had to fry a few onions? When a friend swapped a salad for vegetables in his order, or made the request, he was told "yes there is an extra charge" ...... So I think it's all a matter of expression and a type of tone. Instead of a light wheat they served alcohol-free, etc. No end of the world but that evening it went with the rest! At least the food was good as usual!

Super nice village economy. You come in and receive a warm welcome. Drinks and food come super quickly. The food is delicious and comes really hot on the table. It is definitely worth a visit. Would love to come back

Beer garden was full on 6/25/20 at 7:15 p.m. Mainly retirees. 3 slices (!) Of roast pork with spaetzle. Well! I'm fed up. Beer is delicious ... And 16.50 € for roast pork with 2 halves is really fine 👍🏻

Went there for lunch with children on March 1st, 2020. The staff brought us to our table in a friendly manner. After we were complete, the drinks were picked up very quickly and brought to the table. The food came promptly. First of all the soups and salads and the children's dishes. Then came the main courses. These were very generous, warm and delicious. In conclusion, I can only say that you can eat very well here and at a more than fair price good middle-class food.

Nice pub with delicious, plain food. The portions are nice and big, price / performance is just great. The service was very friendly and courteous. Menu is large and extensive. There is something for almost everyone. We love to come and will come again soon.

Very tasty Swabian cuisine with generous portions! Friendly staff and really fair prices, in summer a cozy beer garden! We recommend!

Very nice atmosphere that reminds a bit of the Hamburg shipping. If you want, you can even take a seat in a "ship". The staff is very friendly and meets every request. The food is really the finest and also the price / performance ratio fits. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff, nice welcome. The food selection corresponds to what you would expect in such a location, so good Swabian home cooking - certainly not for the slim line, but very tasty. After the renovation, the new "Ankerstube" is already doing quite a bit, especially children are happy to be allowed to sit in the area designed as a sailboat. The extent to which this topic fits the restaurant on the hill, without reference to standing or flowing water, remains the secret of the host.

Tolle Location

We did not want to eat in the hotel restaurant so took this short walk in town. There is outside seating, thou a thinderstorm sent us inside soon. Food as far as I remember was tasty and good value. Ask for Marzen beer, I really liked it, tasty and strong.

Absolutely incredible! Typical German dishes made to perfection! Nice atmosphere, and super fast and friendly service! 6 stars!
